Gaia is here to stay
De aarde beweegt in trage, ononderbroken cycli. Processen herhalen zich en brengen tegelijk verandering voort. Tijd ontvouwt zich als een netwerk van bewegingen die elkaar beïnvloeden en transformeren.
In dit project verschijnt een vrouwelijke figuur als een vervaagd spoor in lange belichtingen — aanwezig en tegelijk al verdwijnend. Haar tijdelijke aanwezigheid staat tegenover een landschap dat blijft.
Dit werk markeert het begin van mijn zoektocht naar de onverschillige stilte voorbij het menselijke moment.
Gaia is here to stay
The Earth moves in slow, unbroken cycles. Processes repeat while continuously producing change. Time unfolds as a network of movements that influence and transform one another.
In this project, a female figure appears as a blurred trace in long exposures — present yet already fading. Her temporary presence contrasts with a landscape that endures.
This work marks the beginning of my search for the indifferent silence beyond the human moment.
